4 staff made redundant including one development worker. All staff were playworkers in an already deprived area Penlan Swansea. The worse thing is the individuals who made the cuts now wont answer and of our queries or emails relating to why the money was cut - this is absolutely disgusting. Furthermore the people who made the decisions to cut are an ex chair of the childrens play partnership and the director of our local CVS. We heard that they didnt even bother to read our report on how well the project was doing. The Penlan kids are left with nothing. A comprehensive school just closed, a primary school just closed and now the only adventure playground of its kind in Wales has been takebn from them
