Yes, I paid by card and always keep receipts!
I threatened them with Trading Standards and wow, all of a sudden their attitude changed. We seem to have gotten somewhere now, it's all "Yes Mrs Mallaby, No Mrs Mallaby, 3 bags full Mrs Mallaby!" I know I'm in a good negotiation position and they know it too, so, without being rude or shouty, I'm firmly telling them what we want, when we want it and also how high they can jump!!!
I've been promised 'the deal of the year!'
