we got a letter home yesturday saying that insted of the black polos and trousers, my son is allowed to come into school in whatever is coolest, just for today (wed) but thurs and fri back in uniform. we are lucky that the ties are only for autumn and spring terms.

so him being him, said he wants to go to school in the swimming pool!!!!:rotfl:

Yes as the song says mad dogs and english men go out in the mid day sun.Stay out of the sun between 12noon and 2p.m. Sun bath slowly dont over do it.If sun burnt get into a cool bath with lots of vinegar in.It takes the sting out.You dont end up smelling too bad after doed.and talc. etc. Keep little ones hats on,suncream and thin cotton tops long sleeves.even a vest will do. hope this helps.
