Teenagers can be fun.i used to run guides and always enjoyed days etc. out.

I'M BACK!!!!! YAY!!!!!

We had a FANTASTIC time thank you!!! absolutely brilliant!! Teenagers are sooooooo much fun!! LOADS of funny stories - not time to tell them all now!

lol the first funny thing happened when we got there! we took them for a walk down to the beach to tire them out in the hope that we would get a little sleep that night.....it was pitch black!! they allwent running down the slip way and didnt see the HUGE puddle at the bottom!!! we ended up with 15 VERY wet teenagers who were NOT impressed!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: so they obviously said it was OUR fault!! :crazy: what happened next?? they tried to drag us all in there with them!!

maybe its not as funny for you? mabe you had to be there? but I can tell you this - watching it happen - was VERY funny!!

I never doubted it for one moment!! Ive worked with teenagers since I was in my late teens!!! lol I have been invloved with the youth work at the church I go to for AGES!!! lol when I got to old to attend myself - I became a leader!

I love working with teenagers in the same way I love to work with the littlies!! They are great! full of life and ready t have a good old giggle (usually at my expense!!) I reckon teenagers can keep me young till I die! and its GREAT to be able to help them through some of the most difficult years of their young lives!!!! I find it very humbling to see that they trust me enough to talk to me about the things that worry them most!! lol and those 'problems' can be amusing too - not that i would EVER laugh at them while i was with the yps! But it does make me smile when they say things like "that boy doesnt fancy me - my whole life is over!!!!!" It's great to be able to heol them to pick up the pieces and find another focus! lol even if it is the boy across the other side of the room! ;o)
