Think Children currently provide an emotional well-being service in over 100 primary schools - helping just under 600 vulnerable children. -Parent and schools tell us that we fill a gap in provision. Our service users - vulnerable children aged 4-11 - will not be able to access this early intervention support for issues such as bullying, bereavement, anger, violence and family separation. Without this support these issues may escalate, becoming costly for the child and society. Funding cuts and unavailability of replacement sources will mean the organisation will either have to downsize considerably or close completely by July. We have commenced a redundancy consultation process with our staff.
