Pumpkin is on a distinguished road
Intact

We are a small youth and community centre in an area of high deprivation in the Ingol ward of Preston. The main cut's that our organisation has experienced has been from V inspired. This worked out at £55 K per annum which was %32 of our overall funding. V funded a youth volunteering program aimed at working with young volunteers 16yrs to 25yrs who worked alongside staff to provide a range of services to everyone in the community with staff support. Our program offered opportunities for volunteering on our fun schemes, home work clubs aimed at 8yrs to 12yrs youth club for 13yrs to 16yrs, outside activities for all age ranges and fishing club etc all activities were free or significantly subsidised. Along with the cuts from V we have had some smaller funding cuts, leading to the loss of our adult programmes coordinator meaning that provisions for adults have been cut. Although there are no firm indictors as yet, we are expecting to have further cuts from the council and other projects which could lead to more staff redundancies and we have a small staff team of 7. We like the rest of our colleagues and friends are having to cut back, and try to become more sustainable in an increasingly competitive market.
