Hi welcome to the site.

3.4 Describe positive coping strategies that a child or young person can be supported to develop following harm and abuse

What type of key-person system operates in your setting? Do you review the coping strategies to see if the individual finds them useful?

Page 185 of this 2012 handbook looks at factors that promote resilience - Social Work with Children and Families, use the look inside feature and search for 'coping strategies'

Consider what your setting has in place for supporting mental health, interventions, ways to manage stress, conflict, how professionals help to empower individuals with information about the choices available, the strengths the individual has, their self-esteem, level of resilience.

Eg Play Therapy, counselling, 1-1 support, breathing exercises, keeping a diary or journal, problem solving, seeking support and information, gaining control

This page on positive relationships is also useful reading https://www.iriss.org.uk/resources/i...xperience-care

Have you asked your tutor about any literature that will help you research this more thoroughly?

Best wishes
