UNICORN themed cooking activity
This is a crafty foods cooking suggestion, please substitute the foods items listed for ones that fit needs.
White bread
Cream cheese
Strips of cucumber
Grapes
Currants
Wafer ice cream cones
- Cut an oval shape from white bread and place it lengthways to form the unicorns head.
- Use cream cheese as the forlock - use a fork to make the 'strand appearance.
- Cut two triangle shapes from the bread and use as ears, secure in the cream cheese.
- Add strips of cucumber to colour and brighten the look of the forlock.
- Cut the grapes in half use for the nostrils
- Add currants for the eyes
- and an icecream cone as the horn.
Introduce an
unicorn activity participant to encourage, engage, guide and promote communication in play.
