hi there, i used to be a member of the NCMA, but twice they were unable to recover money owing to me for my notice period! it was 2 seperate occassions, one was £300, one was £350.
They said as they did not think the parents would pay and the amounts were "small", i would need to pay £150 to take it to court. I said what is the point of me having memership as that is supposed to cover all the fees!!! I have switched to Morton Michel and it is a lot cheaper. In my experience NCMA's solicitors were useless, but i do believe they have changed the solicitor firm they use....but donot know how good they are...seems the solicitirs are in it to make money from us!
