CDX have been funded for a number of years by the OCS (Office for Civil Society)'s strategic partners funding. This has been our primary source of funding. We have already made one member of our staff team of six redundant, and the remaining three full-time employees have had their hours cut to 0.8, to be reviewed in June. CDX are now operating on reserves and other sources of funding, e.g. projects etc. At the moment, we envisage that we will no longer be able to publish our quarterly magazine, offer the same level of practice support to regional community development networks, and will be cutting back on our e-communications.
