different techniques which can be used to provide evidence for relfective analysis
 

hi I'm new here and i would like to say a big thank you all of you!
im doing a distance learning course in NVQ 3 playwork it a 8month course which im due to finish in June and i have been extremely frustrated since the beginning as its a new course:soapbox: as not only the college and to my tutor who also has never done anything in the hospital setting which is where i am based under the hospital play specialist/assistants so not only has there been no books in the college on my course or at the local library i had been using online search mostly for my information and suddenly stumbled upon yourselves :idea: and your threads have helped me a lot but time is running out and i need some help to tie up questions (lots of jargon and me :muttering stuff like why didn't you just say that!) i would be grateful if you could help me! with the above question on reflective techniques does this mean reflective models such as Gibbs model of reflection am i on the right track?

The techniques might include:
Diaries & log-books , Simulations and role play ,
Self-reflective dialogue , Narrative –telling the story.
Say you want to reflect on how you helped a child who is going for surgery:
1. you could write about what you did , how the child responded, and what you might do differently next time.
2. You could write about how you might help a child through future chemotherapy by using a doll to show what might happen (This would be a case study)
3. You could use your diaries or log books. Look at them and write underneath each or some of the entries) to say what worked, what didn't work, what you might do next time.
