Code of Conduct

Hi! Been on a course last week and they mentioned a code of conduct, anyone got one? and if so can you help out by telling me what I should put in one?
We are having our first staff meeting and the boss has little things to mention about hygiene, dress code etc which I gather is part of the code, she feels that they are petty things to be bringing up. If we had one of these codes perhaps we wouldn't have the problems? Any help? sue@brandon.fsworld.co.uk

code of conduct

a good induction programme would stop any little matters arising
make sure staff have all the info they need on starting work
you could ask existing staff to help you put this together - they could then label acceptable and non acceptable conduct

Most code of conducts are in the initial contract/job description or/and staff handbook I think The basic ones are the same and any additions are made and are written depending on the setting etc Will try and look for one tomorrow or is that too late?
