Road Safety campaign?

Checking for relevant campaigns for us .. I found the 'THINK' road safety campaign list for this summer ~ thinkroadsafety.gov.uk

and wondered if there was any particular time of the year 'Road safety' topics are introduced to the children in Pre School/reception .. as a theme or as smaller 'bite sized' items ?

We generally do ours this time of year because we link it to stranger danger, safety at the beach/park safety in our homes, fire safety, road safety etc. We talk about the children moving onto school, meeting new people, going to different places on holiday which couild bring different safety concerns etc. Also up until the end of june in our area there is a 'safety in the car campaign' where the police are stopping parents on the school run to check that children are strapped in safely since the new laws have come in.
