Deputy
The other deputy who I will be working with has a few problems with the new boss.
She was called in and told her work was not good enough and there was doubt that she would be made Deputy. She must prove herself!Think there may be a personality difference. She is excellent and one that I would be more than happy to employ. She was given the offer in writing. If she is told that the job is no longer hers, what are her rights? The new boss will not be qualified till January, can he run the group? There will be two other girls untrained. Is it still half the staff must be trained? No wonder there was a lot of whispering in the kitchen!! |
not sure on the job offer thing? but i do feel that if it is in writing they cannot go back on it? unless there has been gross misconduct.
i was allowed to be in charge when training for my level 3, as the old manager left and there was noone else. ofsted agreed it was ok. i think it is still half the staff, but might have changed to 75% thought they were talking about it, we are soooo lucky have got 100% at level 3 (just). arent kitchens great things for gossip!! |
It's still 50% of staff at the mo. To find out the other lady's rights try contacting ACAS for information on employment law (its free! LOL) 08457474747 or they also have a website.
