Note to schools from Ofsted: Early access to RAISEonline data
 

Ofsted propose to trial an early release of summary 2009 test and examination data to inspectors before the full RAISEonline reports are available. Schools have already received this data and it is anticipated that it will be made available to inspectors in late September or early October. As it is not possible to guarantee the accuracy of the data, Inspectors will treat it with caution and will continue to make full use of the previous year’s RAISEonline report for discussion with the school, to develop pre-inspection hypotheses and to determine key inspection trails. It is important to recognise that inspection judgements are shaped by a much wider range of evidence as set out in the evaluation schedule and additional guidance.
