Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) data collection consultation
 

This consultation invites views from LAs and schools on proposals to amend regulations to give LAs the power to require information about the EYFSP from non-funded providers not covered by existing regulations. The Department are also seeking views on starting to use existing powers in the regulations for LAs to collect EYFSP information from schools which are exempt from registration with Ofsted, and which are not funded to provide the free entitlement. The Department have previously chosen to restrict the collection of this information to maintained schools only. This consultation runs until Friday 8 May.
