We've had this title for some time and recommended it highly :cheerful:

Wonderful rhyming text takes you through the festive build up of dressing the Christmas tree ..

Christmas is coming
outcomes the tree
dressed up in finery
splendid to see ...

But someone was waiting
to meddle and play
to get up to tricks
in his usual way ..

Christmas Crackers

Crackers appear to be evolving ..

Wind up Sprouts crackers - once pulled, use the wind up veggies to compete against your fellow dinner mates .. or to look at noise, clattery feet and speed during your Christmas snack and play activity arrangements ..

Craft activity:
Cracker shapes - use tube rolls and tissue paper, tied with curling ribbon to make the basic shape and action of a Cracker.

If you have preparation time and a willing peron - use an un threaded sewing machine to make a perforated line in tissue / crepe or other paper - so that when pulled the papers break apart with more ease. When assembling your crackers, position this line centrally around the tube / rolled card.

Fill and add a label - without snaps these can be used freely. With a snap I believe may mean it needs to carry a warning .. please risk assess and put measures in place accordingly - Some Cracker Snap information:

Sale is restricted to 16 yrs old and over - this is a legal requirement.
Not to pull the snap outside of the cracker
To keep away from the eyes, naked flame

Design scope is huge .. Christmas cracker image search. Use the childrens own smaller pictures to decorate the outer areas of the Cracker, glittery collage, wrappings ribbons and tinsel ..
