Does anyone do knitting with interested children ?

Are you able to supply your own needles & equipment or is applying for funding an option ?

We had a lady who used to visit our afterschool club with all her knitting stuff. The children loved it. She brought knitting needles with her, but we did buy some smaller ones for the younger children. This interest then led to wool art with small tacks hammered onto wood. Some very colourful and unusual creations made. Our lady used to buy most of the wool from charity shops for a few pence.
