What have you learnt today ?

:D my lesson of this evening has to be ...

Never mix a 5yr old, warm Easter egg and a cream coloured carpet, arghhh :wide-eyed LOL

What pearls of wisdom can everyone else pass on ?

never listen to an 11 yr old who says its not going to rain and convinces u to go for a walk with the dog for 2 mile...and it hails!

I have learnt that it takes more than one day to tidy out a lifetimes accumulation of sentimental soppiness!!!!! Will my bedroom EVER be tidy again??? two days ive been at it! TWO DAYS!!! :sarcastic :hissyfit: :sorry: :rotfl: at least i started it at the begining of the holidays right!

Ruthierhyme 04-11-2006 08:15 PM

Narnia you have to elaborate on that !!

Today I found out that Dentist's are just as exasperated with the care they are allowed to give ..... as we/patients are in having to pay for everything.

Good luck Anj, yes the right side of the hols .. you've quite a few days left to get through the job :cheerful: (and the duckling/acorn thing are 'member group names' they change the more posts you make and relate to - joining in with the fun & becoming part of the community !!)

Rach71 04-12-2006 01:26 PM

yes come on narnia..explain yr theory of ofsted...lol

Miss Muffet 04-12-2006 02:06 PM

Today I learned that tinned black cherries still have their stones in!! :sorry: This is after I have roughly chopped them in a blender and baked a chocolate-cherry cake!!! :irked: Oh well, we'll just have to suck every mouthful! I suppose it'll last longer that way! :D

Rach71 04-12-2006 03:44 PM

lol..oh dear...thats a good reason not to cook...lol..

Ruthierhyme 04-12-2006 05:06 PM

LOL.. indeed ! as bad as the egg shell left in cake mixture thinking it'll soften up in the oven :sarcastic :D
