I've decided to take my two children and the little one I mind to Legoland at Windsor. Not sure if it's a good idea as it is over three hours drive, but we'll see. Also Blackpool Zoo and Drayton Manor are on the list too. Never been to Blackpool Zoo so if anyone has been perhaps you could let me know how good it is. Thank you

One of our members runs the 'A - Zoo Nursery' in Blackpool Zoo .. I'm sure she can verify how great it is over there !

3 hours drive .. :wide-eyed lol sounds good though, bet you'll all have a fantastic time :cheerful:

Not this summer as I will be on maternity leave but have taken them to local farm parks and fetes in summer holidays. Try to keep things local and make the most of good weather by visiting the woods, parks, river walks

Actually took the children to Lego Land well worth a visit. Not sure if its worth the entrance fee for the children I took as they could not use all the rides without an adult. Difficult when one has to stay with 20 month old and I had a 4 and a 5 year old, yes on rides it was 1 adult per child under certain height. Had a great day though on Tuesday, hottest day so far, hence factor 50. Blackpool zoo next week, can't wait
