2 year olds
My preschool currently accepts children from 2y6 but what would I need to do to take on from 2 years old?

Hi, if you're already accepting children from 30 months then lowering this to 24 shouldn't cause too much upheaval.
Staff Ratios Toileting, nappy changing and sleeping/nap facilities Arrangements for the 2 year progress check Suitability of resources/toys & equipment for this younger age Check any restrictions on insurance policies, registration documents, rental agreements. https://www.gov.uk/government/public...e-framework--2 https://www.early-education.org.uk/development-matters The best way forward would be to contact your local early years department and gain their support for this development and maybe if you've close relationships with any nursery settings they'd help with advice? Let us know how it goes xx Best wishes |
Thank you for your response!
I want to avoid contacting our LA as they've started invoicing for advice!!!! Will keep you posted :) |
