need help

Hi everyone,I'm new and already asking for advice. I'm slightly confused by the question i'm on, it is this one
Explain how different types of transition can affect children and young peoples development.
I've got myself in all of a muddle, i know what the transitions are but i'm struggling to see how they affect development as it is mainly behaviour that is affected and although some i can see can affect development i can explain how. I have now got myself so confused i cant even see the wood for the trees..
I need direction.. i only have two more questions in this module and have gone all this way with no issues and now i'm stuck.:question help

thank you

Hi a very warm welcome to the site. Transitions can affect children's development in many ways, emotionally when a situation becomes stressful and their confidence is affected. This means they might not want to join in with something they'd otherwise find interesting and miss out on learning - physical and cognitive development.

This thread may help http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13920&

or if you have this level 3 handbook pages 61+ are good reading

Best wishes xx
