I've been banging me head against a wall all day trying to come up with an answer for this..
''explain how play opportunities and educational programmes can be implemented through; Adult led activities Child initiated activities Physical play activities All I have atm is.. There are different ways that play opportunities and educational programmes can be implemented within an early years setting. This can be through; • Adult led activities • Child initiated activities • Physical play activities Practitioners should ensure that their planning covers all situations, described below; Activities These are usually more formal and led by an adult. With activities planning should emphasise the children’s interests and their stage of development that is shown in assessments. Play opportunities These are less formal and usually consists of practitioners providing children with resources to create and expand their own play. The planning needs to emphasise children’s interests and the opportunities as been discussed with them. Educational programmes In England, the educational programme is the EYFS 2014. The planning should promote and refer to all seven of the areas of learning stated within the EYFS while being in relation to the children’s stage of development within each of the areas. Please can someone help?? |
