entrance hallway

How could I liven up my entrance hallway? I have the usual noticeboard with policies and procedures as well as another one with information on local events and activities. Then above the children's coat pegs there are the photos of random children at play but my Chairperson wants it to be more interesting to parents how?

maybe ask what they'd like to see?

For organisation I'd take the frequency of changing a new interest area into account so it can stay fresh, dust free! & engaging.

Seasonal welcome signs that the children develop themselves?
Festival or learning focus display - healthy foods & drinks, our pets, brushing my teeth, celebrations?
A picture diary of the setting's daily routine?

Let us know what happens :) xx

Thanks Ruthierhyme took on board your suggestion and have visual timeline using graphics downloaded then added children's photos to supplement it. Also used a downloaded tree and bought some craft leaves and have children's pictures on leaves falling from the tree with the word autumn at the top. Looks well even if say so myself!
