Hi, this is about a setting making sure it's operating legally, can ensure staff know what and how to do things, how its possible to safeguard children, work with parents & the local community and know why it wants to offer a service to its users.

you're very welcome, if it helps more this page of youngsouthampton examines the benefits of having policies and procedures: http://www.youngsouthampton.org/work...rly-years.aspx

Playwork values + principles, a setting's operational along with a business/projection plan is evidence that might enable a group to bid for contracts, secure funding or attract greater community interest, fill gaps that other services might not be providing for.

xx
