Christmas gift wrapping service?
:santahat:
If you are looking to raise additional funds over /or in the run up to christmas, how about offering a gift wrapping service? For a small fee you could ask volunteers to wrap 1 or a set amount of gifts for a small reasonable fee. Can you pre make your wrapping paper (with the children maybe?) or purchase bulk amounts to keep the price down? Make or buy labels & rosettes and ask for donations of carrier bags to hold the newly wrapped gifts! :star: :cheerful: Set up a table at your local Christmas fayre offering the service for items purchased there and then and maybe issue contact details of volunteers willing to undertake gift wrapping services at a convenient time ! SEE HERE for a demo contact card you could give out. :cheerful: Ask a local business if you could use their foyer as a venue for gift wrapping items purchased from their shop. Set up a table and sort out a list of volunteers. THINGS TO TAKE..... Wrapping paper Sticky tape Ribbon Rosettes Gift labels Carrier bag Pen Table Table cloth PAPERWORK TO TAKE

Warning ;)
Before anyone says - I know it's March!:D
Great idea, just a painful word of warning:bandaid: .....3 Christmas's ago I took a day off work and spent every second of it wrapping presents!:present: I had to leave work the following day to go to casualty as I was in agony,:ambulance seriously wondering how I had broken my arm! After a lot of prodding and poking (and nurses:nurse: calling each other in to laugh at what I'd done the previous day!) I was told I had severe tendonitis :ouch: and given a splint to wear for 4 weeks, very fashionable! So, make sure there are plenty of you to share the load. :highfive: I'm pretty sure I'm the only idiot to go to hospital with gift-wrapping induced tendonitis!!! |
