First Sight of Snow Raffle
 

:idea: Have just been struck by this idea .. if anyone has already done something similar ~ Please let us know how it went !

Aim - to guess the day in which the First flurry of snow happens in your particular area (might be good to have all committee members on the look out for it .. no arguments then lol)

Print out the most 'likely to snow calendar months ~ November through to April and sell off the squares/days in blocks (or single days :wide-eyed !!)

These are the calendar pages I currently use ~ write name & contact number / address in each square.

What sort of novel prizes could be put up for grabs for this raffle? .. maybe a Commissary prize of gritting the chairpersons driveway lol :D

Snow shovel
Sledge
Hat, scarf, gloves
Thermal gloves/socks
Snowman building kit (hat, scarf, sticks, carrot, coal)
Bag of rock salt
Hot toddy kit (adults only)
