Complaining about Ofsted

We have recently had Ofsted in, comprising an inspector and a trainee, and we are in the process of having our detailed complaint investigated as their conduct on the day was inappropriate and the final report was full of inaccuracies.
Has anyone else had problems with inspections? Has anyone else complained and taken it as far as possible?

Accountability

Good for you, for taking action. Surely inspectors have to be as accountable as us for their conduct.

I know some childminders who have taken it to the second stage complaints process.

However, at this point changes are not normally made so you really need to aim to get it sorted in the early stages of the complaint process.

Search Ofsted's website for the compliance documents they will guide you through the process.

Good luck x

It would be good to know how childminders have got on with complaints, hope you get justice!

YES! Justice at last - worth standing your ground, not as untouchable as you think!
