Ofsted Chair, Baroness Sally Morgan has welcomed today's endorsement from the Education Select Committee of the appointment of Sir Michael Wilshaw as the new HMCI.
Baroness Sally Morgan said: “I am delighted that the Select Committee has recognised the great strengths that Sir Michael Wilshaw will bring to Ofsted and look forward to working closely with him. Sir Michael will join a talented team of senior colleagues with a broad range of expertise and skills. He will be a real asset to the organisation.”
