im currently doing a child study and am looking for any information on links between schemas and attatchment im reading a wonderful book by c arnold but wondered whether anybody could help me further in my research

i think stretching the connection between schemes and attachment is tentative at best! nourishing a schema could increase emotional and cognitive development but why would it lead to attachment? the relationship would, the schema wouldnt? they do of course demonstrate their emotional needs through repetitive patterns but is that to do with attachment? nourishing anything though would nurture attachment i have never heard of
schemas and AT being connected in a research or theoretical perspective so would be interested to see what you find!

Cathy Arnold did her thesis on emotions and schemas, she looks at attachment too. it is on line I found it and saved it. If you don't have any luck I could email it to you.
