Coral Reefs

There are many different varieties of corals in our oceans - their survival is as tenuous as all our exploited natural resources.

Coral Activities
  • Use photographs of natural coral and good plastic replicas for the children to look at and explore in their water role play.
  • If you get chance to visit a local marine centre ~ show your children what sort of corals they can find in there.
  • Collage a branch coral picture with crunchy materials - crushed sugar cubes would be good.
