Funding from Merton Council covers staff wages and we have been told to expect cuts 2012/2013. Any cut will threaten our survival. We struggle with current levels of funding which have not increased in 5-years. We raise our own funds for running costs, but local government funding covers 80 hours per week for 4 employees - these jobs will be affected by the proposed cuts. Without these 4 employees the community centre will close and the already deprived community we serve will suffer.
