Planning Aid England

Part of the RTPI, but to some extent, a charity in our own right (albeit one that shares its number with the RTPI), all 62 staff that work on Planning Aid England are in the process of being made redundant. There may be some funding after March if a bid is successful but this will not be known in time to stop the redundancy process. We have over 1000 volunteers and helped over 30,000 people in the last 12 months. Planning Aid England provides free, independent and professional planning advice to communities and individuals who cannot afford to pay professional fees.
