Investigation Tray

Hi,
Just looking for some ideas on what sort of things I can put in my 'Investigation' tray. Have previously tried things like foam, jelly crystals, cornflour, etc, but am looking for things a bit less messy as I ordered some new aprons for the start of the term which have not arrived yet!
