have you tried marmite potatoes Anj?? I used to find that even the most ardent M haters in the world would wolf them down and declare them to be fantastic!

new potatoes boiled in their skins until tender(but not too tender!)
a good knob of butter
a very good tablespoon of marmite
a splash of hot water

mix everything exxcept the potatoes in a large pan.....a wok is brilliant for this
place over a medium heat on your cooker and stir
when you have a nice, glossy emulsion, add the potatoes
turn them over until well covered and soaked in the mixture, serve!!
these will keep quite happily in a low oven for an hour or so if necessary.:burp: :yummy: :yummy: :goodvibes

I hate the stuff, my own children love it so do my mindies. I recently did a food exchange with a daycare provider in America and she wasn't keen either lol

well we have tried squeezy marmite, and it is a little thinner. and even though we seemed to eat more of it! due to holidays it was gone really quickly

still yummy and much less messy getting out of jar.
also kids do fab patterns with it!!

I bet that was interesting ... I WILL one day try - Jello, Kool aid, and discover 'Pudding in a cloud' :D
