Delivery will be via the Royal Mail - although we reserve the right to use another parcel courier at our discretion.
Orders will be packaged and dispatched within 48 hours of recieving your cleared payment ~ BUT please allow up to 28 days for delivery ~ we do not have control over the couriers.

FAULTY GOODS?
If the goods you purchased arrive damaged, then please contact us ~ silky@silkysteps.com
Let us know if you want a full refund or a replacement order.
We will send a replacement or the refund once we have received the faulty goods back.
Please make sure you return them to us ~ in the same condition as they arrived to you ~
We will also reimburse you the postage cost.
CHANGED YOUR MIND?
You are are within your rights to change your mind about accepting your order for 14 days AFTER the date of reciept.
HOWEVER
If you do decide to 'cancel your order' ~ you must email us and let us know you have changed your mind (no reason will be expected)
Return the goods to us UNOPENED and in exactly the same condition as you recieved them ~ ie. in a resaleable condition.
We do NOT refund Postage for good returned in this way.

The Crafting forum is an interactive element of Silkysteps that I am very proud of.
Please use it to actively respect the opinion of others and their content in the same way as each anonymous visitorto the website would do.
When you sign up to use our online forum please be aware that the following conduct is expected:
 Not to post any libellous or defamatory material that infringes another’s rights.
That copyright is acknowledged where appropriate and the source of information is included within the post.
Where felt appropriate challenge information politely, aggressive disagrement is counter productive on a forum aimed at providing support & community.

Advertising your Business in Silkysteps Forums
Use of text talk and capital letters on the forum
Whilst we do not moderate or edit any posts that contain mobile text or texting language, abbreviations or posts that use all capital letters we do ask if members can please have consideration for the website's other readers and try not to use this form of communication.
If possible explain acronyms used so that readers can follow up on the leads they might provide.
Why?
Posts made using all capitals can give the appearance of SHOUTING and texting is quick, great for short phone based communication where the number of letters are counted - childcare is slower, take time to enjoy asking, replying and reading on the forums.
NB: using a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence - for names, places and where a word may need emphasising is welcomed.
