Smile Miniature gardens

An image search from Google - Miniature Garden

As a free flow craft activity provide an area with a bucket of soil and a selection of tin lids, pots and dishes.

Add texture and content with gravel, stones, tin foil for ponds, twigs, grass, daisy heads and other small blossom and leaves.

Small logs, sand and pebbles for construction gardens - working quarrys.

A sign post for each Child's name and laminated animals/people for interaction & role play.

What a fab idea- i used to love making these with the moss off my nan's path. That brings back summer memories and using her massive clothes airer to make a tent.
