Default Legal requirements.

Where can I find websites with the laws covering legal requirements in childcare? I have tried OFSTED and NCMA, but am struggling a little. Thanks in advance

do you mean how we interact or general regulations? this is for voluntary organisations but is pretty useful
http://www.wvsda.org.uk/Downloads/Ne...anisations.pdf
pretty much covers what legsitlation they cover
though I'd have a look at:

Health and safety - act 1974, any policies you have and manual handling (act 1992)
Data protection - act 1998, policies again and this also includes any confidentiality policies
Equal opportunites - disability discrimination act 1995, race relations act 1976, *** discrimination act 1975 and your policies.
Un convention on the rights of the child - respecting and treating children as individuals. particuryl articles 2,12 and 16

Also businesslink.gov.co.uk have a checklist you can fill in as if you were a business and can download the pdf. file. the links from this are great for 202, 302,305 and probably for level 4

Human Rights and the Rights of a child are within this under the UN CONVENTION
