Cheerful Buffet or 4 course Christmas dinner?

How is your Christma stable going to be set this year?

We're off over to my Brother & Sils' this year, so not too sure what's being dished up .. but past tradition has been a palte full of Steak, salad, sauces & hot veggies/roasted potatoes, little sausages etc !!

Both!! We'll start with a buffet on 23rd for joint birthdays (me & Hubby), followed by turkey and trimmings on the 24th at Mam's, followed by buffet at our house on Christmas Day (then I don't miss anything!), followed by buffet later that evening at MIL's party, folowed by leftovers on Boxing day, followed by Andrew's for about a fortnight after that!!! :vomit: I feel full already!

Nut roast for us since we are veggie. We will have dinner at my parents house. they aren't veggie but havn't been great lovers of turkey in recent years so I think they are having some other joint of meat. I love sage and onion stuffing, roast potatoes, veg and parsnips mashed with black pepper, butter and nutmeg.

For dessert we have homemade sherry trifle. My Dad loves Christmas pudding but no one else is fond of it so we have the trifle. He gets his Christmas pud in Jan sometime!
