If you fancy turning a window of your role play house into the look through stable 'door of Santa's reindeer .. you could include this feeding trough & scoop idea so that the children can feed the reindeer !!
Fit a window box -
googled image search - to the base of your house window - alternatively you can have them free standing on the floor!
Fill with sawdust and cut hay ~ makes it easier to 'scoop !
Make some feed scoops from old milk cartons ~ or use old washing powder measures.
You could also make some reindeer heads and stick them to the house wall for the children to feed
