Describe the potential tension between maintaining an individual's confidentiality and disclosing concerns

I understand what it's asking me but I don't know how to word it or begin my answer, just need to get flowing! This is my last question to get this unit signed off so really want it done :(

Hi, it's about confidentiality and the potential breach of confidentiality when deciding if it's appropriate to disclose/share information with or to another.

UN declaration of human rights
UNCRC and the right the privacy
Freedom of information act 2000
Data protection act 1998
Whistleblowing

To assess whether you feel it correct to pass on information to a relevant person maybe ask ..
What is the confidential information and the situation in which you recieved that information
Reasons why it must be kept confidential
Reasons why it must be disclosed

If possible can you use the setting's policies, procedures and accounts of your professional experience to find out how you're expected to disclose confidential information, report concerns and if your job role and responsibilities mentions the care needed to maintain confidentiality in and outside of the setting. It's possible your assessor/tutor will arrange to observe & discuss this outcome criteria when they visit.

Best wishes, the search page may help further
