Involvement of others in observations?

Im really stuck on the following question so any help is really appreciated!

Explain the involvement of others in the observation and assessment of children within the referral process and why their contributions are important.

I must talk about the following;
Parents/carers
Child
Practitioners
Key worker
SENCO
Other settings
Support services such as speech and language therapists.

Thank you in advance

look at partnership working, shared assessment. Team around the child and Common Assessment Framework. All links to the children act 2004 requirement for the cooperation of all agencies to work together for the best interests of the child.
Do you have The Cache Early Years Educator book? its all included in unit 2.2
hope that helps a little?

Hi read pages 90+ about the team around the child and use that information alongside the table you'll find on page 146

Thank you for your help! Im sure ill understand it all soon. I understand how they work with families and children but i dont understand how they are involved in the observation and assessment within the referal process? If anybody could give me an example or a starting point then that would be great

Thank you xx
