this is what i wrote:
1.2a explain:
• how development and learning are interconnected:

children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates and all areas of learning and development are equally important and inter-connected.the principle (children learn from everything they do) recognises that all areas of learning are interconnected and that while children will need to be taught new skills, these should always be balanced by opportunities for them to independently apply.

1.2b
• how and why variations occur in rate and sequence of development and learning
Development and learning are two aspects of behavioural regimen. The way the brain responds to any kind of new knowledge or study to pattern or technology which involves thinking, analyzing and responding is always different from one another.

1.2c
• That learning may take place in different ways.

Learning takes place in different ways throughout a person’s life. Just as older children and adults learn through reading and studying, young children learn by playing. Play is the work of children. There are many strategies used by speech language pathologists to elicit a desired language response from a child. It may seem as if the session by playing, but in actuality, play therapy sessions are structured with measurable goals in mind. Children learn best through their everyday, natural environment. In other words, young children learn best through play.

1.2d
• The importance of play
All children play. From the infant squealing in delight during a game of peek-a-boo to the older child playing a game of basketball, children of all ages play and they play in all kinds of ways. Play is recognized as an important part of a child's development. Some people believe that children need to work not play, and that playing serves no useful purpose in a learning and development environment. To support a children’s learning and development through play the following conditions:
• adult involvement
• allowing children to share initiative about what is to be learnt
• Enabling children to take risks, be creative and playing in their ideas. You can take the children to a place that teach risks in a fun way for e.g. the warning zone
• Organise the physical setting to maximise learning and development opportunities.
• Developing effective systems for observation and record keeping, and using these to inform the planning subsequent activities.

if there is any thing i missed out please tell me, hope this helped :)
