Hi Laura

think this is the question you need guidance on

Explain how legislation and codes of practice relating to equality, diversity and discrimination apply to own work role.

look into:
The Equality Act 2010 (replaces The Equal Pay Act 1970, The *** Discrimination Act 1975, The Race Relations Act 1976, The Disability Discrimination Act 1995), then you need to relate this to your settings policy and procedure.

So you need to look at the equality Act 2010, then how this relates to your policy that you have in place, how you apply this in your setting and how you then put it into practice.
