General question Help please Understanding child and young person development- Theories of Development

Hi. Im doing the NVQ 3 Supporting teaching and Learning and Im stuck on unit 10: a3 Theories of Devolpment.

Task 2 is asking what stage/s do you think the pupils are at?

please can someone give me any idea what this means as the notes and the books are not much help. I have found a lot of the questions to be a little under explained but I have no idea what this is asking for.

Thank you

You need to look up Bandura, Skinner, Pavlov and other child development theorists, read up on their theories the question will make a lot more sense then.
You will be able to talk about the copy cat theory or learning from example. Stages usually depend on age groups for example a 2year old may pretend to hoover but a 4 year old will pretend to hoover whilst saying things like oh what a mess and use unhappy facial expressions because they have possibly seen and herd their parent saying this. Also the older the more understanding and knowledge as well.

Hope that helps
