Default Use assessment opportunities and strategies to gain information and make judgements about learners progress?

Hope someone can help really stuck on these. Use clear language and examples to discuss and clarify personalise learning goal and criteria for assessing progress with learners.

Use assessment opportunities and strategies to gain information and make judgements about how well learners are participating in activities and the progress they are making.

Provide opportunities and encouragement for learners to improve upon their work

Really dont know how to word them. Thanks.

im banging my head on this one too:
Use assessment opportunities and strategies to gain information and make judgements about how well learners are participating in activities and the progress they are making. Demonstrate and record instances of the different methods, such as:
Using open-ended questions
Observing learners
Listening to how learners describe their work and their reasoning
Checking learners' understanding
any tips would be very welcome xx

Will this also mean to include what the children have such as in the class in which i volunteer they have their targets for each subject stapled to the inside of their workbooks , each child has an individual target card where they sit which they get a stamp for each time they do it when they have 5 stamps they have their next set and they have a success criteria in their books with each piece of work that they use to self assess their work by ticking off what they think they have achieved in their work.
