Default Explain how to identify the needs of children and young people.

When a young person comes into care they are given an initial health assessment. It will be at this stage, and also taking into account past medical histories, that decisions will be made with regards of how best to meet the young person’s required needs. The needs of a young person will come in categories of health, education and domestic welfare. All young people are different and their needs will be met as best to help them progress in a positive way in all aspects of their lives. Regular checks and assessments will be done to ensure that the subjects that have been put in place to help the young person are working to ensure that the young person is getting the best care. Regular professionals meetings will take place so that discussions can take place so that the best communication can happen to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people. :jump:
