for this you need to download and read the national curriculums for these areas then answer each question one at a time. they are huge questions so take it bit by bit but you need to read first

Hi, as advised this is a link to the subject areas on education.gov.uk, click the curriculum you need on the left depending if your setting is primary or secondary.

For 1.1 look at why planning & implementing things for children's math/english development is important.

for 1.2 Summarise the national curriculum framework - take a look at the subject area for the children's age in your setting - on the link above and summarise what it's about.

1.3 Summarise the organisations policy and curriculum framework - each school setting will have their own approach to math or english. Ask for a copy of their policy to see how the subject works and also how it fits in with the rest of the subjects timetable.

1.4 Explain the teachers programme and plans - each teacher will have their own way of planning for the children in their class and have preferences for the types of programmes they provide. Are you able to ask if you can talk through what goes on.

Did you manage to get this done? I'm working on TDA 3.11 the literacy unit and I need to hand it in tomorrow and I haven't even started the written section yet!

Hi for 1.2 Summarise the relevant policy and age related expectations of learners relevant to literacy development in the setting. it relates directly to the policy your school/placement has adopted. It will contain all the information you need to respond to this criteria.

1.3 summarise the teachers programme and plans for literacy development.

This is again about your school placement, the teacher you work with and the literacy programme they have in place to support the children's literacy development. An example and explanation on this can be read on page 207 of the 'look inside' feature on amazon.co.uk

Best wishes
