Default CYP 3.1 development timeline?

i have just started the cypw level 3 and my tutor seems to enjoy telling us all about herself more than about the actual tasks, lol

we have been told to complete the section under child development, but i am a little confused as shes told us to do a timeline for task 1 under core 3.1 and has said that the timeline is the explanation, but i cant understand if this is right?

can someone please clarify what is meant by the word explanation in the tasks?

Hi, All i can tell you is what i had to do for task 1 cyp core 3.1, I had to choose one aspect of learning form birth to 19 years, i chose communication and language development. I then had to do a time line which i did using smartart on office 2007 (you can't use this apparantly on office 2003) i just plotted keys points from the communication and language information, like sounds made and interest in books etc,along the timeline next to the appropriate age in steps from birth to 19 years. you could just use arrows or other shapes from your word document to create your own timeline, you can also add pictures if you like. you can make it more detailed if you like. I was told this would cover task 1 criteria 1.1. I have not had any feedback as yet but before i did it i emailed my tutor and clarified what i had to do.

thank you so much, i have done the timeline, which my tutor has checked and thats fine, but shes not really clarified what else i needed to do. im going to email her in a bit to see what exactly needs to be done :)
