Default observations and planning

hi everyone, i have done 4 observations using different methods and covering different areas of development but im worried im not evaluating them properly and putting the right activities in place, do i need to state the LO and put the activity in place from the EYG getting really confused any help would be great x

I have no idea what format you are using but here's what I do...

Observation - child is making lines with the cars putting them in size order;

Main link to Eyfs - PSR&N counting;

Evaluation - the child has also been observed lining up trains at home by mum. I think he may have a trajectory (straight line) schema;

Next steps planning - offer activities which link to trajectory schema such as water play, rolling things in straight lines, drawing lines in chalk on the patio and see if he enjoys them.
